Creative Products accuses Nike of infringing U.S. Patent 7,245,906, “Foot Cushioning Construct and System for Use in an Article of Footwear.” Creative asserts that the construction of Nike’s “Joyride Run Flyknit” shoes, which includes cavities in the outsole

that are filled with deformable beads (as seen, for example, in the heel), infringe several claims of the ‘906 patent.  Judge Boal has the case.
